Opera Mobile 10.1 browser hits Symbian^3 (Download)

The NEW Opera Mobile 10.1 web browser has just hit the world most popular smartphone platform Symbian^3 5th Edition Devices. The release version debuts the new just-in-time compilation that should improve the Carakan JavaScript engine performance quite significantly.

In addition to providing nine times better JavaScript performance than its predecessor Opera Mobile 10.1 introduces quite a lot of new features. Speed Dial, tabbed browsing, Opera Link and password manager to name a few, plus the Opera Turbo mode that enables compression and saves you as much as 80 percent of the web traffic.

There are also some UI changes including kinetic scrolling, a virtual keyboard and auto-rotation to landscape.

Very impressed by its speed and ease of use. The UI is smooth and clean and great to look at, and its nice to have tabs in comparision to the default browser.

does it play videos in browser like skyfire does?

Does anyone experienced unexpected software crash with Opera 10.1 ?

Sometimes happened to me that when browsing newspapers or this forum the Opera software crashes and exit. No freeze on the software or the S^3, just exits without reason.

Could it be any other configuration affecting Opera?, any idea?
