Download Nokia N8 V11.0.12 ( RM596 ) Firmware Update Free Right Now

The Nokia N8 has been released last week and if you were one of the lucky pre-orderer who received his unit, then be aware that the Nokia N8 V11.0.12 firmware update is now available for download.

Yeah, you heard it right! Nokia’s flagship device, the N8 can be updated right away and if you haven’t received an OTA notification, then you should check the Nokia Software Updater and maybe there’s a surprise waiting for you.

The Nokia N8 firmware RM596 is available for all customers in all countries, however, we’re expecting Nokia to push the software update by region.

got my n8 yesterday, charged it and switched it on.  within an hour of having it on i got a text to say software was available and it downloaded an application update (no idea what it updated) and some new themes.  Just found the sony software updater and it says i have version 11.012 and my phone is up to date!

Not had the phone 24 hrs yet but is running good and i am really happy so far (lets hope it doesn't disappoint like my satio!!!)
