FW 14.002 released and available from Navifirm...looks available for all unbranded N8 handsets. No branded FW listed.

It's downloadable on cellc in South Africa via Nokia update..
I downloaded and installed it. It is PR1.2

hello,

got it this afternoon via phone update (*#0000# procedure ) see picture attached.
But i'm not sure how download came in, through wifi or 3G, was kinda short and did not paid atention to this.

Change log of Nokia N8-00 14.002 (PR 1.2) firmware release (differences compared to previous 13.016 SW version):

    * Ovi Maps SR 6 - improved Maps user experience, for example enhanced sharing possibilities and improved updating of new maps
    * New version Nokia's Ovi Store is available
    * Fixed Mail for Exchange synchronization issue - emails stopped syncing if in certain format
    * General performance and usability improvements

i got my N8 from a provider, (meaning - it's branded Smiley )
updated via nokia software updater.
don't see a lot of changes, it seems that it slightly faster,
noticed a huge problem!!!!
it won't sync with google!
i mean i've set it to sync with google cal and mail with "mail for exchange"
now it does nothing, no new cal events, no mails.. nada!
and the locking switch on the side, does nothing!
will update when i'll get some news.
