Hello

Recently, i've noticed my battery draining really quickly, even if i'm not using the phone and even if i activate the power save mode.

I only have whatsapp installed.  WLAN is off.   Only 2 mail widgets running on 30 mins frequency.  All widgets set to offline.

According to battery monitor...  after every 20 mins i'm losing 2 or 3% even with power save mode activated.

It only suddenly became like this few days ago, as i recall i didnt' install any new apps, other than updating OVI maps, but i never even use ovi maps at all.

Nokia profiler shows my CPU usage at 30-50% even when i'm not doing anything.  What could be the probleM?  I tried uninstalling whatsapp,  makes no difference.

Thanks!

its just a suggestion, as this happened to me, but i noticed my battery drains twice as fast if im using a brightly coloured or pictured theme that changes the icons. I had no idea themes used power but they do. Now i only use dark themes that utilise default icons.
Just a thought.

I had this so I searched a solution out on one of these forums.

The solution that worked for me was email. Go to your email  settings then click on the account itself from the menu then synchronisation. Almost certainly the retrieval frequency will be Soonest. Change this (I use every 4 hours). You might also want to change the retrieval schedule as well. it's completely cured it for me.

Good luck!!

whatsapp does not have an offline mode so whichever priority you've set it to connect to first (WLAN or mobile internet) it will always be connected, this drains a lot from your battery.
