My N8 fell in the toilet bowl. My bad because I didn't turn it off right away, but instead shook it until the water's gone off.
The menu key was not responding after that. And the touch screen started to act up when I press some keys. So I turned it off and disassembled it to get rid of the remaining moisture inside. When I reassembled and restarted my phone, kaploom - the touch screen is no longer responding.
I left it off for a week and still the same thing. I can turn my phone on, I can even access the camera through the hardware button, but the touch screen is really not responding. I also noticed that the gravity sensor stopped working, like when I turn the phone horizontally the screen's not changing.
Could it be just the external touch screen or something like a chip inside the phone that needs to be fixed/changed?
Thanks in advance for your replies.
