It works not really well... Sometimes crashes.
I've noticed in particular that it crashes when you write in a box when keyboard is in vertical mode.

I recommend using Opera Mobile 10 (the latest version is aimed (somewhat) at Symbian 3).  The main difference between Opera Mini and Opera Mobile is that Opera Mini stores some of its code and data on a remote server to save memory on smaller mobile devices.   That isn't necessary on the N-8 because it has plenty of memory.

Now for the bad part. I really like Opera Mobile (in concept) but to make it all it should be, it needs to be optimized for Symbian 3.  When dealing with a touch screen in a browser, you really need to be able to resize the image without any significant input.  The way this is designed into Symbian 3 (among others) is the "pinch" move.  The "pinch" move isn't implemented (yet) in Opera Mobile so designating options accurately in many many web sites is next to impossible.

As a result of this lack, I have gone back to the native browser (which does this well) and have customized it to work best for my needs.  As a result, the native browser is now my browser of choice - but only until Opera gets Opera Mobile up to speed with Symbian 3!

Regards,
