Hi,
 
  I have just bought the nokia n8 and the nokia bh-503 bluetooth headset. I have paired the two devices and connected. Headphone icon is showing at the top right of the phone. However when i go to music player and play music, i hear nothing on the headphone. Thought it was the volume controls on the headset but that did not solve it. When i disconnect the headset the music returns through the phone speakers, and when i connect again it goes mute and i hear nothing on the headset.

have just got N8.
un paired with old 5800 and paired with N8, works ok.

Having headfone plugged in , overrides (interrupts) the bluetooth audio streaming to the BH503.

Hence, cannot use FM radio function via bluetooth. (need headfones to use as FM aerial).

This was not a problem withthe 5800.

dunno if its any help  but i have the bh 503 and it works perfectly with my n8, might be that it has some technical problems but am just letting u know it works
