Got a call from a friend saying he had sent me 3 SMS messages and he wondered why I hadn't replied, but the point was I had received no notification, either visual or audible that I had received a new SMS. When i go in to my Inbox, there they were, 1 x MMS followed by 2 x SMS.

I restarted the phone and all has been fine.

Subsequently, the same thing has just happened again, where I looked in my Inbox, had 1 x MMS and 1 x SMS and had received no visual or audible notification.

Is this happening to anyone else? Any help would be appreciated!

No.  That is very unusual.  Unfortunately, I don't have a solution for you because of that.

Your not alone.  I have the same problem.  It gets annoying.  Restarting the phone only fixes this for a bit but then stops notifying.

had it once that the notifier didnt notify. It was with a normal sms.
