my battery is loosing charge in around half a day. i am a super light user. it basically just sits around in my pocket or on the counter. i don't play music or use gps. i don't have anything running that i know of in the way of apps. like when you hold down the home button and apps show up there is nothing there.

i have had the phone for about a year and nothing has changed in the way i use the phone and now for about 2 weeks i've been loosing charge really fast.

any ideas would be great and keep in mind i'm not real up on tech speak or getting into the guts of the phone.

thanks,
j

could be that you have to get a new battery? Tongue. i had to do that on my old xm5800. after i had it in about 2 years. or. if u have alot of apps installed. it can be that too. i don't know why, but it is an option. Roll Eyes

After only 2 weeks I doubt it would be the battery.
Do you use bluetooth - check it is switched OFF when you dont need it
Likewise with the WLAN, switch off the searching for new wlans when not needed.
Also, double check GPS is not on, Camera settings can switch GPS on to tag photos with location.
Also check power saving options, like screen brightness, time to display dim etc
All these things dramatically shorten battery use.

there's a lot of things that run in the background that don't show up when you press the home button, download a free app from the store called 'appstop' it will show you everything running in the background and lets you close them manually.
