Hi, i have installed my whatsup in my cellphone, no problem with it, but It's considerably draining my N8 battery fast.

Is there any way to disconnect it or to force it to not use my data (nor my wifi)?

Unfortunately no, the only way is if Whatsapp release an update in future to fix this

You should try Imsy!

I was in the beta Test and my first request was exact this feature and they implemented it!

It is available for S60v3,v5 and S^3

You can take a look at my review

It is in portuguese, but there is a button for automatic translation in the site that should do help you to read.
