Hello, I have two GPS receivers: holux M1000 and GPslim236. They are both found on  my new Nokia N8 but they both don’t make further connection to the device. They don’t  cooperate to the device.
What’s wrong with them . They both do work on the former device,

Thanks for your advice

Your phone already has a GPS receiver built in.

If you want to use them you go to settings and disable all other GPS

Integrated
A-GPS
Network

and enable only Bluetooth GPS then they will work.

But to be honest this solution will only lock on the sattelites faster in comparison to the integrated GPS without the A-GPS, otherwise both BT GPS despite the SIRF III Chipset will take longer than the integrated GPS + A-GPS to lock.

Best Regards,

Mauricio
