Using Nokia N8.. My phone is become unresponsive after 1 month of use..
What operations did I try for the 1st month of use?
o Using Phone Setup default application, I have transfered data (contacts/messages/images/sound clips) from E51 to N8.
This was in the 2 weeks of its use. No problems seen after that.
o Then I have used the cell without any issues for normal usage i.e. phone calls, messages.
I haven't even downloaded any additional apps on the phone yet.
o Then I connected the phone to my PC just to check if the phone to PC connectivity was working fine enough.
2 days after I did this, the freezing problem begun and has not stopped till date.
What exactly is the problem?
o The phone switches off and on normally
o The menu opens up on press of the menu button
o None of the apps open after that
o If I call up from another phone, though I hear the call go through, NO notifications is seen on the screen. It just doesnt ring.
o Opening of any app (Messaging/Applications etc) blanks out the screen indefinately
What did I try to correct this problem, but it was not of any use?
o Switch off and then switch on after some minutes
o Switch off and then switch on after some hours
o Switch off and then switch on after some days
o Restored factory settings on the cell
Please help.
