i set up gmail on the N8 throught new mailbox and then the gmail icon, entered my account info and there it was... BUT - there is, you would normally think, for sure the original message on the server, you download a copy and delete it after reading. BUT NO! it deletes it off the server as well. isn't there a way to leave a copy of the message on the server? i tested with the sync emails check on and off... both options make me lose emails... Cheers

when you set up the account just select IMAP instead of POP
