Hi.
i use N8 for the last 4 days.
i installed a lot of applications, i browsed a lot the web, i tested everything it is on it... heavely used for the past 4 days.
my battery was off in 24-36 hours, already recharded it 4 times.
what about you ? what's the lifetime of one full charge ?

With me the battery lasts for a max of 2 days.
I love everything about the phone except the battery.
My previous phone needed a charge just once a week (wasn't a smartphone though Tongue), aaahh good old times...

This will depend in substantial part in how much you use the phone.  I usually get about 2 days between charges, but when using it a lot, I need to recharge every night.

yeap, so i guess this is it. that's the fact. 2 days with medium to low usage, 24 hours with heavy usage. i think it's ok for a phone that can do so much Smiley

I agree that the battery life is OK.  We have two other very high end smart phones in the family (iPhone 3GS and Blackberry Torch - I have to have a BlackBerry for my work) and they both have about the same battery life as the N-8.  (I actually get a bit more battery life on the Torch because I use it almost exclusively for work e-mail and reading and writing attachments to those e-mails which is not heavy usage.  If I go on the Internet or use navigation, though, battery life goes down fast - about the same as the N-8.

Regards,

I buy this phone 3 days ago, and I charged for 14h. Sience then I used a lot with 3G and WiFi, phone conversations, music, and I still have 32% of batery, acc. to power-meter apps.

The more your phone processes , the more electricity it consumes.
I too hate its battery life , just hv too keep recharging every day 1 to 2 times...

yes, but :
1) first 10-15 days i was usign it for hours with wifi, installing apps, foto testing it, etc.
2) if you have it for less than 2 weeks it's normal, because the cycle of recharge it's not made... i don't know how to say it in english ...

Hey All

I get around 2 days out of mine, Thats pretty good compared to my wifes Iphone. I have a charger next to my bed and also at work so I never run out of juice.

For the functionality it has it isn't to bad

(turn the wifi scanning off when not using it, saves a bit of battery)

If phone is in stand by mode, i mean, you don't play music, films, don't play games, not much of sms'ing or calling, then it can do 2-3 days, heavy use - i guess about 1 day maximum it can take. When i was choosing phone i read that battery life is wonderful, when i got it i was a bit disappointed with battery life, but still, phone has to many pluses that outweighs battery life.
