Hi - was a devoted Nokia user from 3330 to 6310i but this phone is trying my loyalty. Freezes, data loss, and it's just not as intuitive as Nokia used to be.

Stuck with it till upgrade in Jan - but expect to move on.....

i bought nokia n8 some few mnths back. earlier i was using this device as normal smart  phone, but recently is have discovered its capability and how awesome this device is.
so i want to see how this device an do more..

Hello all ... just got my Nokia N8 Grey from Amazon & unfortunately it has the purple screen issue.  Getting it replaced & hopefully the new one will not have that problem & come w/ Anna *crosses fingers*

The only thing I have tried so far was getting rid of the camera tone/shutter noise ... the patches online were much to complicated for a non-phone tech like me ....

Hi everyone, nice forum you got, I'm a new Nokia user, well actually now its lamost a year, I didn't like Nokia at all before, cause I knew they were slow and everything, i was a Sony Ericsson user, and then I saw the N8 with the freakin sick camera and new symbian and said hey i'll give it a try... I bought the N8 in Sweden, and readed forums how people aint satisfyed with it, but I was absolutely STUNNED!!! Been a happy user with the N8 for almost a Year, never kept a phone so long without selling it, and I dont even think about selling it since Symbian Anna came out, simply amazing... But I do want to flash it now cause i forgot my security code and every time i turn on the phone it ask's for it but i just click cancel and then its ok... But i'll check the forum about that... anyways the N8 is a GREAT phone, and I'm officialy a Iphone hater since i tryed the Iphone 4... bull*#$* ! Anyways thanks for this forum, I'm gonna check it out now!

Hi. I'm new, and seek answers/help. I've got this N8, and its been nothing but a horrible experience on getting any help from Nokia. It has a 50% call drop ratio, and its random. The phone decides when I've talked enough and drops the call. I cant get a signal in my house, and I have top hold the stupid thing just right to get ANY signal. Has anyone else experienced this?

Plus, I'd like to upgrade to Anna. Contacting Nokia, is like contacting another planet. I called them and the tech person said that Anna is regional? I dont understand that. Is Anna even worth upgrading to? I want it to maybe help with my signal issue. Otherwise I'm going over to another company. Nokia has dropped the ball BIG TIME.

hey
just wanna know one small thing abt the certification
before from past 4 years i was  getting the keys and certificate from opda.hk and  another site
but now i got tis phone on friendship day tat means on 7th aug
from tat day am tryin 2 get the cer and key 2 my imei from opda.hk but still its showing tat tat the request is proceedin can i know some other way 2 get the key and cer please

I am a newbie from Nairobi.
I bought an N8 previously used C3.
I am having problems setting up up the microsoft communicator application after upload to Symbian Anna... as I do not have the settings.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
