Does anyone know how you transfer ONLY the songs you want from your PC< and stop it trying to repklicate the whole of your itunes onto your phone? Likewise, I cant seem to upload the pictures I want to, even though it says its sync'd

Hiya,

I don't synchronise - just connect as a mass storage device and copy individual files (songs, photos etc). To change the default USB connection type, goto: Settings->Connectivity->USB settings and set to "Mass Storage". The n8 will act like a big USB stick Smiley

Note, that when connected this way, the phone can't access the E: drive - so shortcuts to apps saved on the phone won't be available. Don't know why :^)
