you can reset the database by deleting the database files manually through your PC.

1) Connect the phone in "MASS STORAGE" mode to your PC. Enable viewing of hidden files and folders.
2) Delete the one file in "E:\private\101ffca9" ( called "harvesterdb....dat" ).
3) Delete the two files in "E:\private\101FFC31" ( called "mpxv....mpd" and "pcv....mpd" ).
4) Disconnect the phone from the PC and run the Music Player on the phone.
5) Wait a while for the app to startup. It will be rebuilding the library......
6) Just to be sure, select "Refresh".

NOTE you must be able to view Hidden files and folders on your PC AND you MUST Connect phone in MASS STORAGE mode or you will not be able to view these files

Also note E: is Depending on what other removable drives you have connected to your PC.
it may well show on your PC as a different letter if E: is already assigned.
