These are file that I have taken off of other sites in order to help make this forum better and add more helpful information on it.

This hack file helps you hack the firmware so that you can install any .sis or .sisx file without signing the application first. The file below is HyperX's hack file from his website (http://hx-custom-roms.com/).

Quote
I told you yesterday that i got an surprise for you ! It´s related to all Symbian^3 (N8) users and since someone else has published THE hack for N8 which is absolutely different then our solution, we were the first who managed a FULL hacked phone. (Team HX and PNHT)
Until now we haven´t decided to make it public, just to sort/fix some things out. But the community seems to force us to do it:
What we can prove is, a FULL hacked phone (hacked installserver,  no need to sign apps) and FULL access to sys\bin and private folder.
That means, you have also READ /WRITE access to those folders with preinstalled Filebrowser that is NEW compiled for Symbian^3
plus, i give you the the 30fps mode and 97 % photo quality mod too !
As for now, that´s not enough, you get the continue-autofocus too ! It   has still a bug that is stuck in some sort of macro-mode, but we are sure that this will be fixed soon !

This is a detailed instruction .doc file which I also pulled off of another website. I think he has his name in the text document.

Anyways, Enjoy!

Yeah, it's on their forum...if you feel like signing up.

I've been part way through doing this, but my install for Phoenix keeps crashing.  I believe it requires disabling anti-virus for the root.exe file.  For anyone coming from a SE phone, it was the same with the a2uploader.  I just haven't bothered doing it yet.

instead of hacking it, maybe it's safer to sign the apps, don't you think ?
register to http://cer.opda.cn/en/ and request a .cer and a .key file ...

And... does anybody know what happens if you flash your mobile with another firmware? I mean, I have a spanish vodafone firmware, can I use a free spanish firm?
And using this method, will i get full access to C unit? Because i need this to install kaspersky for example.

Thanks a lot.

They will give you the .cer and .key files. So the only thing you need is the sis/sisx and a program like signsis.

yes, as Sauron_EH told you already, they give you both files you need, also the software you need to sign the files. it's not a big deal, it's not hard to do !
good luck !

they can't harm you in any way, this is what i know.
and they can't know what's in your phone ... you apply those keycer files to sign an app "offline". no need for internet connection Smiley that's my opinion
and if, what's the problem if they know i have software X in the phone ?Smiley
