I live in Europe and will travel to the US during summer vacation. In the US I would like to buy a card from a local phone company maybe AT&A, Sprint, T-Mobile or Verizon and use it together with the one I have from Europe. Any experience you are willing to share on this topic ? I wan't to be accessible on both phone numbers at the very same time. Of course the phone is registered on-one carrier only at this time. Phone number 1 uses roaming between (example) Swisscom <--> AT&T. Phone number 2 is a local one from a SIMCARD for AT&T in the US. Is this possible by using a SIMORE solution ? "Asking" Wikipedia it tells me about "active dual sim mode" and "standby dual sim mode" phones. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dual_SIM Therefore with the Nokia N8 I have it would only be possible to have a "Standy Dual SIM" Phone. And the only advantage of using, for example, a product from SIMCORE is that I don't need to change the SIM card by hand, each time I wnat to use the other "line" to make a call. Correct ?
