Unlock Code

Just had my N8 delivered after two years of Samsung i8910.
I have looked on the net at some length to source a reliable unlocking company, but to no avail.
I have tried the company i have used on numerous occasions, they also cannot provide an unlocking service as of yet.

So, has anyone unlocked their N8 yet. If so, whom would you recommend.
Locked to 3 UK at the moment

I got my T-Mobile N8 unlocked here:

They also do Vodafone and Orange, but still not Tesco, O2 or 3.

I don't understand why you guys you purchase locked phones.
If you don't call a lot, this is not a good bargain. You think you've got a deal because the price of the phone was reduced, but think at the cost on the long run.
I don't call a lot, so I use pay as you go and pay a quarter per minute. I spend $25 per month for calls (100 minutes) plus $20 for 200 mb datas plus $5 for 200 messages. Total per month is $50. For 2 years (your contract last usually 2 years) I will pay:

Calls,datas and messages
$600
Device
$545
Total: $1145

After 2 years, I will sale my N8 on Ebay for, let say $150
Total cost device plus calls, datas and messages for the entire lenght of your contract:
$995

How much will you pay for two years? $100 per month ie $2400 plus $200 or $250 for the device? Total is $2650, right? Where is your saving?
I speak about US market, but I am sure in UK, your providers offer also Pay as you go solution.

Not necessarily so, I worked out with my contract over 24 months with O2 UK I will pay £600, minus £400 for the phone it works out I get 600 any network minutes, unlimited texts and 500Mb data for £8.30 per month, much less than I would have paid if I had gone pay as you go...

I've got mine here in Brazil a month ago and I pay 30 US$ for 250 Mb pro month and that gives me 250 SMS free and 250 minutes of video calls, plus 50 Us$ which I can use for everything extra Mb, voice, roaming, extra sms, international calls... and every dollar I don´t expend I can use for the next 2 months.

And I've got my N8 that as prepaid here costs 936 US$ for free and unlocked with a one year contract.
In other words, I'm using the full price of the N8 to surf the net, make calls, etc... (12x80=960). I did the same calculation when I got my N95 8gb 2 years ago.

I could problaby sell my N95 8gb after one year of use for 500 Us$, but since I was happy with it and there was no mobile that in my opinion could replace it, I kept it.

Let´s see if next year I get a N9 or N10 .... :-)

BTW here all phones are unlocked or the operators have to unlock it for free, the unlock process is as easy as entering the EMEI in the website of the operator or just a call away for the help desk.
