I attempted to copy a .mp4 file which was larger than 4GB directly onto the phones memory, it said there wasn't enough memory to do this. So I tried to copy it onto my 8GB micro SD card and got the same problem, I found out from google it was in FAT32 which has a 4GB size limit so I reformatted it in NTFS and transferred the file over to the micro SD card but when I put it in my N8 it said memory card is corrupted. So I assume the N8 is not compatible with NTFS which is a shame because HD movies tend to come in large file sizes, is there going to be an update in future to overcome this?

All youtube videos downloaded as mp4 play perfectly.

This is important as I don't watch long length videos when I'm on the road.

However, if I want to put a large movie onto the phone, I find that the best way to do that is to convert it to mp4 using Winavi to mp4 converter.

Without having to hope or test, the simplest way to get movies (avi, divx, xvid, mkv), whatever format is to convert using Winavitomp4 save the resulting file into my dropbox, then download using cutebox.

I watch alot of video.  The videos I put on the phone, I watch on the phone, so with all the different ways a video can be encoded, it's important to find a media converter that can batch convert all types of files into a standard file format that your phone can play.  It has to be idiot simple, and not time consuming.
