hi all,
i have just bought a new N8. i want change the home screens. i want to add some more shortcuts that i use very frequently and currently not there on any home screen.
the problem is whenever i go to edit the screen it takes me to the Widgets Shortcuts screens where i dont fint the applications i want to add.

how can i add more applications to Widgets Shortcut so that i can add those on my home screens?

there is a widget called "shortcuts" ore something.
in the edit screen you can tab the widget and press settings, to change the apps.
you can add that same widget many times over and put the screen full off shortcuts.

Try the app "Favourite Apps" . it allows you to add 15 apps via a single homescreen widget.
Its on OVI store and priced at Rs 25.  Cool
Add it to the homescreen
[long tap on it after adding & go to settings, you will be able to assign shortcut to your apps]

Just ask if if still having problems.

Long-press on the home-screen > changes to a bit grey > tap any plus " + " sign > scroll-through the widgets catalogue and use them if you wish or scroll-down to 'shortcuts' towards the bottom of the widgets catalog > it puts a new empty widget for 'shortcuts' onto the home-screen > tap the new empty Widget > tap 'settings' > tap any of the four 'manage' > select 'Application' for an App, or 'bookmark' for the Web; and add Four Apps into the Widget : should be pretty-obvious from there   : happy 'customizing'
